		I really enjoy talking to the younger Indonesians... This morning i was invited to be the guest speaker for Mentari Elementary School Graduation ceremony.. it was the first time ever I deliver a speech in English. So no kiddin' i knew i need to be prepared. I wrote it the night before.. i stayed up untill late.. but still, this morning, when i see the faces of those young graduates, and the look of their eyes.. i knew i need to say something from the heart. So half past through it i dropped the note, i looked to their eyes and say: "I don't know if your parents or your teachers got the chance to tell you about this, but.. do you know that Indonesia is right now number 10 the largest economy in the world.. and in six years we're going to be the 5th largest economy in the world. So imagine we're in the year 2030.. going on to 2045, as you can see at that time Indonesia will be those big 5 largest economy in the world, do you ever think of who's gonna run the country at that time? ... or who's gonna rule the economy in our country? Hmm... your grandpa?.. nah.. they won't be around then. Your dad? Your uncle? Turn around now and look at them. Well they're old now.. so what makes you think they won't be older later? Yup they'll be too old to run the economy by then.. so i guess.. yeah it's you guys! So i guess it's about time that you realize how important you guys are to this Country. You guys matter." By the time i ended that sentence, there were no more blank gaze, no more knees moving.. there were only pair of eyes starring back at me in in awe. I hope that's a good sign.					2025-11-06 16:52:46
